Keeping you on the move

We operate the UK’s biggest national fuel network, where you can find market-leading brands, from Esso to BP. They’re all in locations that we’ve specifically chosen to be on popular routes, roadsides and junctions across the UK. That means, whether you’re on a well-travelled commute or a one-off journey, it’s easy to fuel up and get on your way.

All you need for the perfect pitstop

  • The majority of our forecourts have ATMs, with many of them free to use.

  • Our Calor partnership means that we’re able to offer the UK’s leading supplier of Patio Gas, Propane, Butane and Camping Gaz. This standard Calor range is available across all our service stations, giving you access to bottled gas 24/7.

  • We have more than 150 sites across the UK that offer fuel for HGVs, with high canopies and multiple lanes. We also have five designated lorry park sites, which have SNAP payment systems enabled.

  • Most service stations have toilets, with attendants available 24/7 to guarantee high standards and regular cleaning.

Frequently asked questions

  • Once costs, tax deductions and duty are considered, only a fraction of your fuel bill comes to us. Here’s a quick overview of where the money you pay at the pump actually goes.

Every time you fill up, 45% covers the cost of the fuel we buy from a supplier. A further 29% is fuel duty and 17% is VAT. Of the remaining 10%, only around 2% is our retail profit.

  • The price of fuel at the forecourt is influenced by lots of different things, including the volume of stock held at petrol stations, the price at which this stock was purchased.

Generally, the fluctuation in pump price reflects changing wholesale costs, however, different fuel contracts have different terms for when the price is fixed. Some are daily, which means prices rise immediately. Others have fixed prices for one, two, or more weeks. In a rising oil price environment, this means some sites may be cheaper than others. This is often misconstrued as ‘rocket and feather’ pricing, where prices are perceived to increase quickly but come down more slowly.

  • We’re signed up to fuelService, allowing us to make a ‘reasonable adjustment’ for our disabled customers under the Equality Act 2010. All you have to do is download the app here https://fuelservice.org/en/getapp/ to contact a specific service station and request the assistance you need, from wheelchair support to help with refilling.

  • Yes. The vast majority of our forecourts offer both super unleaded and super diesel from top brands, including Shell V-Power, Esso Synergy Supreme, Jet Ultra and Texaco Supreme. We also have almost 100 sites where Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is available.

  • Yes, we have AdBlue at almost 200 of our forecourts. AdBlue is a non-harmful element that’s added to your fuel at the pump, helping to reduce emissions and environmental impact. For many modern diesel vehicles, it’s essential. It’s easy to see the exact locations using our MFG Connect App.
